Covid-19 – We are ready to do our bit to ensure homes are powered and food gets to tables

These are difficult times we live in, with the lock down and social distancing rules meaning many of our lives are disrupted like they have never been before.

With everyone’s health the priority, companies such as HIT Energy Services are having to fundamentally change the way we operate for a short time.

In line with government guidance, our engineers are now only attending Solar PV renewable sites that are essential to supplying the National Grid or food supply chain.

“These are uncertain times for us all and foremost in our thoughts is the hope everyone stays safe and well,” says Simon.

“This means we are only attending sites where farmers or businesses work in the food supply chain, supply supermarkets or provide energy to the National Grid.

“We are ready to do our bit, however small, in ensuring everyone is able to get the essentials during this time of national emergency.”

The situation is constantly evolving and our team is monitoring it on a daily basis.

But for now our engineers are ready to help businesses working in these essential areas that may have defects or faults with their Solar PV plants.

“We will soon beat this horrible virus but for now the priority is everyone’s health,” added Simon.
