Simon Hopkins – Our very own Technical Director, Simon set up HIT after a lengthy conversation with his mates over a game of pool, when they decided that there was a real niche in the market of Solar PV, lots of companies installing solar panels but no one maintaining or monitoring them, and so it began!

After 3 years of intense research and develop the HIT Guard was developed and although we call this Simon;s baby he does have 2 real life babies (although not such babies now) When time allows Simons hobbies include following the red side of Manchester and cycling, having taken part in sponsored cycle rides for charity he now keeps fit in the comfort of his home gym on his new peloton bike!

After nearly 4 years, Simon still remains passionate about the world of solar and is more confident than ever that all his hard work continues to make a difference to farmers, landowners and businesses who invest in it.
